About the Job:
The role of production supervisor oversees and manages the manufacturing processes
and assigned duties of the department or work center by supervising staff, organizing,
and monitoring workflow.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel
in the use of control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance
with established policies and procedures.
• Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results,
coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and
enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Manage and maintain staff by orienting and training employees, developing
personal growth opportunities.
• This position will supervise departmental and/or assigned staff & personnel,
carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and
procedures and all applicable employment laws. Responsibilities may include
interviewing and training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising
performance, rewarding, or disciplining performance, addressing complaints or
issues and resolving problems. Coaching performance, process improvement,
tracking budget expenses, production planning and participating in strategic
company planning.
Requirements:
• Experience with continuous (one piece) flow manufacturing, fast paced production,
standard work, and pull systems is highly desirable, in addition to experience
leading production in a made-to-order manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of experience as a supervisor or technical leadership
• Associates and/or bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Experience with Inventory Management Systems such as QAD, SAP, etc.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
• The ideal applicant must demonstrate integrity, flexibility and sound judgement,
respect for people and good critical thinking skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Salary: Up to $70,000.00 per year

Experience:
• Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
