Local freight company is looking for a candidate that is open to transitioning from “Blue Collar” to “White Collar” work.  The successful candidate is a take charge individual who will seek out work and clients/drivers to fulfill the needs rather than wait.  This is a fast paced environment with quick witted co-workers that are straight-forward and successful when thinking on their toes.  This candidate has the potential to make their own territory/book of business.  Compensation is based on the strength of your drive.

  • must have a “thick skin” for being told “no”

Responsibilities:

  • Checking driver locations
  • typing up loads
  • making appointments
  • interacting with clients over the phone
  • booking shipments
  • negotiating prices and rates
  • offering driver loads

Compensation:

  • $40-45k/yr salary
  • Potential quarterly bonuses ($1,000-$10,000 depending on performance)
  • Health insurance after 90 days
  • 401K  with 3% employer contribution (open to employee contribution as well)
