Overview
POSITION: Behavioral Health Therapist (QMHP, LPC, LMFT, CSW or LCSW)
Mental Health Therapist will provide weekly individual, family and group therapy and ensure that case notes are completed. Caseload will vary depending on clinicians’ obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide discharge summaries and set up continuing care goals.
- Provide accurate supporting documentation.
- Provide crisis intervention, assessment and make referral as needed.
- Responsible for all written and verbal communication with families, community partners and program staff.
- Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior according to the appropriate licensing agency.
- Additional duties as assigned
Mental Health Therapists must also complete:
- Diagnostic intake and assessments using the DSM-V criteria.
- They must also create and implement treatment plans and then collaborate this with the clients.
Requirements/Education:
- Master’s Degree in social work or professional counseling
- Must be QMHP, LPC, LMFT, CSW or LCSW
